Cozy summer house in Nykøbing Sjælland

Welcome to this lovely summer house in Nykøbing Sjælland.
The house offers the best of both worlds: the comfort of a year-round home combined with the atmosphere and location of a traditional summer cottage. Over the past few years, the house has received a lot of care and attention, filling it with warmth and coziness and turning it into a peaceful oasis with plenty of space to relax and recharge. For children, there is a large trampoline at the back of the garden, and free parking is available on the property. Important: Guests must bring their own bed linen and sheets, towels, tea towels, dishcloths, kitchen roll, and toilet paper.

The house is arranged with a spacious entrance hall offering plenty of room for your luggage. In the living room, the large dining table invites you to gather around a good meal, while the comfortable sofa is perfect for music evenings, cozy moments, and movie nights. We know how important a good night’s sleep is, and have therefore provided high-quality beds (90 x 200 cm), as well as both blackout curtains and regular curtains in the bedrooms. Currently, the conservatory functions as a very pleasant bedroom until we have completed the renovation of the final bedroom in the house.

If you are more than four guests, there is a lovely annex (approx. 20 m²) with a heat pump and access from the garden. The annex includes two beds (90 x 200 cm), a large desk that can also serve as a comfortable workspace, and a sofa bed. Please note that there is no toilet in the annex.

The summer house does not have traditional TV channels, but features a Smart TV, allowing you to easily stream your favorite shows. There are also playing cards and a wide selection of board games for your enjoyment.

The house is located on a quiet gravel road, with the Hov Vig nature reserve just a 5-minute walk away. Here you will find beautiful trails leading all the way to Rørvig. When you feel like jumping into the waves, the fantastic Nordstrand beach is only a 10-minute bike ride away. The water is exceptionally clear and the sand is fine and soft — truly beautiful and inviting. The beach is also very child-friendly, as it remains shallow for quite a distance from the shore.

Nykøbing Sj. offers a charming pedestrian street with everything you could wish for, including restaurants, cafés, and small shops selling local delicacies and more. Rørvig Harbour is only 6 km away, and on the way you will find Rørvig Street Food, offering delicious food in green, pleasant surroundings.

Most everyday errands can be done on foot or by bicycle, but if you prefer to drive, there is also parking available near most beach entrances. If you arrive by train, it is approximately 1.8 km from Nykøbing Sj. station to the house.
