This charming holiday home was built in 1890 and renovated in 2006. It is set in idyllic, scenic surroundings in the beautiful county of Södermanland. The house is set only 200 metres from lake Mälaren.

The cottage offers the charming atmosphere of the past as well as the comforts of modern times. The open-plan kitchen/living room features a lovely pellet stove and a TV. In the kitchen area you will find the basic amenities plus a dishwasher. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and the second bedr features a bunk bed. There's also a sofa bed for two in the living room. In the bathroom you will find a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine. From the furnished terrace, you have a lovely panoramic view of the landscape. The house is surrounded by a big garden of 1000 square metres.

The cottage is set only 400 metres from a charming bathing spot with a dock. This is where you'll find the rowing boat that you share with the tenants of holiday home no. 25745.

Strängnäs offers plenty of sights and activities, such as golfing at Strängnäs Golfklubb, 8 kilometres from your cottage.Strängnäs is a picturesque town with many well-preserved old buildings. One of the interesting sights of the town is the old cathedral. You can also catch a boat from the harbour to the old Viking town of Birka. Malmköping has a “fairytale path”, sagostigen, which children enjoy. There are two railway museums in the area, one in Malmköping and another in Mariefred. Skottvångs Gruva offers music events. The area offers something for every taste!
