The holiday apartment is part of the historical Niels Skiverens Gaard which has been turned into 15 lovely holiday apartments of which this is one of them.
The 2 storey apartment has direct entrance on the ground floor from the north-west facing courtyard. The apartment features a nice and bright kitchen with a dishwasher, a spacious living room with both a dining area and a sofa corner where the family can gather around and enjoy each others company. From the living room there is direct access to south-east facing terrace where it is always possible to find a spot in the shades. Lastly, the ground floor also features a bathroom with toilet and a shower.
The staircase in the living room takes onto the 1st floor which features 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a doublebed while the other has 1 doublebed and a single bed. If it should be necessary, the sofa bed in the living room is fit for one extra person. The youngst member of the family have not been forgotten as the aparment has both a high chair and a cot.
The wide beach at Skiveren is only a few 100 meters from the apartment and is more than ideal for taking as a many cooling and refreshing dips as you desire.
As a gueat at Niels Skiverens Gaard you are allowed to use the many facilities available at Skiverens Camping such as the pool, minigolf and wellness.
The closest grocery shopping options are the supermarket at Skiveren Camping, which is open during the summer. During the winter, you can go to either Aalbæk or Tversted. Both are no more than 10 km from the apartment.
The North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals is just a 30 minutes drive from the apartment. Take the kids on a trip to Ørnereservatet EagleWorld where the eduacted staff can teach you everything there is to know about birds of prey as well as get the chance for experiencing falconry on horseback. Farm Fun, which is located just outside of Aalbæk, along with Råbjerg Mile is both ideal places to visit for kids as well as adults. While being in the area, Grenen just on the outskirts of Skagen, is a must-see and is no more than 25 km north of Skiveren.
Skiveren offers plenty of opportunities for golfplayers to enjoy the game. The golfclub Golfbanen Hvide Klit is only a short drive from the apartment and within a radius of 30 km you can reach Sindal Golfklub, Hjørring Golfklub, Hirtshals Golfklub, Frederikshavn Golfklub and Sæby Golfklub.
