This architect-designed holiday home is beautifully located just 50 meters from the beach in the outermost dune row at the end of a cul-de-sac in Lyngså.

The house, which was renovated in 2021, is 93 m² and features a large spacious kitchen with a dining table and a large, bright living room with a wood-burning stove for cozy days. Large panoramic windows offer a beautiful view of the garden and surrounding dunes, and from these dunes, you have a stunning sea view.

The holiday home has three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed. The layout makes the house ideal for families who want to vacation together, whether it’s a family with children or multiple generations.

Around the house, there are several terraces with plenty of space for relaxation and opportunities for grilling, and the lawn invites play. There are ample opportunities to spend the days outdoors here.

GOOD TO KNOW:
No rentals to youth groups. The renter must be at least 25 years old and present during the entire rental period.

THE AREA:
The area south of Sæby, around Lyngså and Voerså, is one of the most popular holiday destinations for families with children due to the fine, child-friendly sandy beach and attractive holiday homes situated on natural plots in dunes and plantations. Behind the dunes, there are large heathland areas, which are replaced to the north by Professorens Plantage, one of the finest natural areas on the east coast, and a little south of Lyngså, you’ll find the bird reserve Stensnæs. Voer Å is one of the largest rivers in the region. It winds through the landscape and flows into the Kattegat at Voerså.

A few kilometers from Lyngså, in the village of Voerså, there is a small natural harbor, and on the coast, there is a slightly larger harbor protected by Denmark's longest pier. Canoes, paddle boats, and rowboats can be rented for a pleasant day on the water. There are also ample opportunities for fishing—from the pier or in the river. In the river, you can catch trout, perch, and flounder, but remember to buy a fishing license and permit (you can buy a fishing license at the Sæby Tourist Office). The idyllic Sæby is about 10 km north of Lyngså, where you can visit art galleries, enjoy a good meal at one of the restaurants by the charming harbor, or just go shopping in the town’s stores.

A bit further north is Frederikshavn—a port town with one of Denmark’s longest pedestrian streets. Along the pedestrian street and in the side streets, you’ll find many shops, cafés, and a wide selection of restaurants. Children will love a day at the large indoor playground "Fun House," the Caribbean water park "The Reef," or the exotic palm beach—all in Frederikshavn. And if you continue north, you can visit Skagen, known for its many famous painters and "Grenen," where the two seas meet at the top of Denmark.
