Welcome to a charming holiday home set on the coast of Småland! This well-equipped cottage was completely renovated in 2015, and is set on a quiet street without traffic, and yet close to the beach and the town.

The interior of the cottage is light and airy, with high ceilings. It is tastefully decorated and features a beautiful open plan kitchen and dining room. The comfortable living room features a sofa suite and a TV with Blu-Ray. Free wireless internet access is included. The bottom floor bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, a shower and a washing machine.

On the second floor there are three delightful, tastefully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed and the other two bedrooms have a single bed each. Please be aware that the second floor has sloping ceilings. There's also a second bathroom up here, it contains a WC and a washbasin. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden, all of 1500 square metres!

There are shops and a supermarket in the town of Söderåkra. The beach is only three kilometres away and features a bathing dock.

Söderåkra is only 37 kilometres south of Kalmar and Kalmarsund, where you can cross the bridge and visit the charming island of Öland. At a farther distance, you will find Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are close to Vimmerby. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal is another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glass is made. Västervik is also well worth a visit, offering shopping, beaches and many events.
