The holiday cottage has a wonderful view of the fjord. It sits in a quiet and peaceful area with sheltered waters. The town of Fillan is 11 km to the west, where you find all kinds of services. The bedroom has a 130 cm wide bed and there is a comfortable mattress on the mezzanine. The cozy cottage has a sheltered location by the fjord, 50 metres to the boats and 30 metres to boat house and fish cleaning table. A 15 ft boat with a 15 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor can be found by the dock, next to a 16 ft Dolmøy boat with 50 hp Selva 4-stroke motor with Hummingbird 700-series sonar/gps/chartplotter and control panel. It is not allowed to bring your own boat. The cottage has 2 open terraces with a fine view. 50 metres to a place where you can go swimming. The closest house is 20 metres away and is used by the owner. Hitra er famous among fishing enthusiasts, because of the many currents that goes through the straits. Hitra also has many deer and other types of wildlife. You can go fishing for trout 1,5 km away (+10 minutes of walking) in the lake of Langvannet. 8 km to a salmon river. Go for a road trip to Frøya, an island where you can visit the famous fishing village of Titran.
