Maison de vacances au Åreryd

Welcome to this delightful holiday home set in the heart of beautiful Småland. The pretty house is set in Ingatorp, 30 kilometres from Vimmerby, the town of Astrid Lindgren's World. Surrounded by beautiful woodlands and fields, this house is a wonderful place to relax, while still being close to an array of activities.

The spacious house is suitable for two families who want to spend their holidays together. On the bottom floor, you will find a big kitchen, equipped with the basic amenities.The bathroom contains a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine. In the cosy living room, you will find a sofa suite, a fireplace, a TV, and a dining table. There are four bedrooms, three of them have two single beds in each, the fourth bedroom has one single bed. There's also a cot.

The house features a little, furnished terrace from which you can view the beautiful surroundings. There's a little wine cellar in the garden, as well as a grill, and swings for the children.

Lake Rödsjön is only three kilometres away and has a lovely bathing spot. Spilhammar Camping in Mariannelund has a larger beach. Here you can rent canoes and there's also a beautiful walking path.

Astrid Lindgren's World is 30 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. When you are in Vimmerby, you mustn't miss the elk park Skullaryd, where you can go on a tractor safari and spot wildlife! Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal is another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glass is made.
