This house is located in the countryside yet in the center of Mariannelund. The house is at the end of a street with incredible beautiful nature close by and in front of the house the river Bruza-ån flows, where you can fish only about 20 meters away. Next to the house is a park with nice walking paths, a lovely place for the whole family to visit.

The house has a kitchen and a spacious living room downstairs. The living room has a large comfortable sofa with plenty of space if you want to watch television together or just hang out and enjoy the fire in the wood burning stove. In the kitchen, the old fashion charm is kept on the cupboards and together with modern installed appliances, it gives a cozy atmosphere to the room. On this floor you also have a bathroom with wc and washbasin. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and adjacent to the room is another bathroom with washbasin, shower and washing machine. In the second bedroom there is a bunk bed and a single bed.

On the plot is an annex with additional beds, perhaps perfect for the youths in the family who wants to be a little bit for themselves. Downstairs there is a double sofa bed and a single bed for children (a junior bed 160 cm long), the staircase leading up to the loft is very steep, upstairs there are two beds on sockets directly on the floor with two mattresses. In the annex, there is a fridge and a tumble dryer; however, no water is contained.

The plot has several nice patios that you can choose to sit and have your breakfast or dinner on, depending on where the sun is. The garden also has play equipment for the children, such as a trampoline and a children's pool.

This place in the middle of Astrid Lindgren's Mariannelund has all the attractions close by, including Emil´s Katthult, Bullerbyn, and 16 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world. In Mariannelund you also find the new project Filmbyn, where you can experience the recording environments from the classic Astrid Lindgren films.

Close to Mariannelund there are many lakes for both fishing and swimming. In the lake Skruven, you fish implanted rainbow trouts and around the lake there are piers to fish from (fishing license required). At the camping site Spilhammar's camping in Mariannelund there is a good bathing spot, boat and canoe rental, miniature golf and a restaurant.
