A charming little holiday home by the owner's farm in the small town Hadselsand. This part of Lofoten has an open landscape with plenty of hiking trails. Idyllic sandy beaches along the sea are great for walks and for breathing in the salty fresh air. A perfect place to experience the midnight sun on clear spring and summer nights. The ocean is rich with fish and you can go fishing from the bridge nearby. 12 km to the fishing village Laukvik where you will find a grocery store and 17-21 ft motor boats for rent. Hadselsand is a good starting location for day excursions by car around Lofoten. 45 km to Svolvær, Lofoten's unofficial capital with its many shops and restaurants. In Andenes you can experience whale safaris. Approx. 4 km from the house is a bird sanctuary and protected wet lands. 20 km to Sandsletta Cafe. Visit Kabelvåg with galleries, museums and an aquarium.
