The Gålå Grend cabins were built in 1995. The cabins have 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with a bunk bed. The cabins are well equipped for self-catering and contain in addition to the bedrooms a living room, kitchen and 1 bathroom / toilet as well as a sauna. Privately owned units, interiors may vary from photos. Shop just a stone's throw away. Dog allowed on request and for a fee.

Gålå is a hidden gem in scenic and quiet surroundings 950 meters above sea level in Peer Gynt's kingdom. Gålå is located with magnificent views to both Rondane and Jotunheimen and is known as a family-friendly destination. The area offers beautiful cross-country trails and winter trails as well as activities such as dog sledding in the winter.

In the summer, the cross-country trails are replaced with nice bike and walking paths. If you like fishing or rowing / canoeing, there are also rich opportunities for this on many small lakes. If it tempts you with a moose safari, it can also be arranged. If you are looking for silence, beauty, and activities in scenic nature, Gålå is just the place!
