"THE CAPTAIN'S HOUSE" - Kaptajnens Hus was built in 1936 in the classic Plesner style and served for decades as the summer residence of Captain Ebbe Friis Hansen. In 2022, the property was carefully and thoroughly renovated with great respect for the original architecture.

The 213 m² are divided between two buildings, beautifully decorated in an elegant seaside-hotel style with white wood panelling, light colours and lovely furnishings. You will find seven inviting bedrooms, three stylish bathrooms and a spacious kitchen-dining area with a fireplace. The kitchen offers modern appliances, excellent equipment and tableware for many guests. Large windows and terrace doors ensure wonderful natural light.

Outside, several terraces, a secluded courtyard, garden furniture, sun loungers and an outdoor shower await. The grounds are planted with dune grass and decorated with pieces of driftwood. A small path leads directly to the beach – ideal for a refreshing morning dip in the North Sea before enjoying breakfast in the sun.

The area is perfect for pleasant walks and bike rides along the many small trails. Mountain bikers can access the Skagen MTB track close to the house. From the Buried Church, the old church path leads straight to Skagen Harbour, passing Klitgården (known locally as the King’s Villa), the former summer residence of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine, and the red shed area by the Skagen Kayak Club.

No rentals to youth groups. The tenant must be at least 25 years old and present throughout the rental period.
