Simple but charming little cottage on beautiful car-free Asperö in the Gothenburg archipelago. Here you live close to the sea and peacefully in a real archipelago idyll, with lots of opportunities for activities and outdoor life, far from the city's traffic and noise.
The island is car-free with frequent ferry traffic to the entertainment city of Gothenburg. With "bathrobe distance" to salty baths, you can start the day with a dip and then sit on one of the patios and enjoy a good breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. A perfect home for the small family or couple who want both a genuine archipelago holiday and access to the fun of the big city. Nature, sea, peace and quiet but also the proximity to Gothenburg's entertainment in an unbeatable combination!
The cottage is on one level and accommodates bedroom with 120 cm wide bed (1 -2 pers), living room with single bed and sofaa ( possible extra bed for 1 child) with TV ( Viasat channels). Smaller kitchen with dishwasher and dining area, and bathroom with shower and washing machine. Protected patio at the back of the house and also at the front under the apple trees.
Asperö is a living archipelago island in the southern part of the Gothenburg archipelago with about 460 permanent residents. The island is closest to Saltholmen where the ferry departs and the crossing takes only about 10 minutes. The island has nice sun and bathing cliffs and to the child-friendly bathing place Kvistevik you walk in 10-15 minutes. The island also has excellent jogging trails and from the view mountain Valen you have a brilliant view of Gothenburg harbor. If you want an active holiday, there is both a beach volleyball court and kayak rental on the island. C.a 70 m from your cottage is the island's football field. Asperö has a well-equipped general store located 350 from your cottage and during the summer also a kiosk in the marina. Do not miss a visit to the island's local history museum with unique material from life on Asperö from the 1700-1900s. If you want to eat at a restaurant, you can go to Gothenburg or to the neighboring island of Brännö, which has both an inn and a restaurant in the harbor.
Welcome to a charming cottage in a real archipelago idyll!
