The large wilderness areas are perfect for hiking and picking berries, mushroom and catching fish. Lierne has more than 2000 fishing lakes, mainly with trout and char. In Sandsjøen, 300 metres from the cottage, there is a boat with el-motor included in the rent. There is plenty of wildlife here. You can also experience a winter full of snow. The cottage is located 300 metres from a ski lift, tracks for cross country skiing and possibilities for ice fishing. The host lives on a farm approx. 150 metres from the cottage and can give you clues about where to go hiking, and even give you guided tours or introduce you to farming activities.
